Dark Side of the Lens

Above is a link to a brilliant video that I have to share.  Found through a friend sharing via Facebook, I thought...I need this on my blog!  It's a must, it is brilliant and beautiful...I cannot fully explain and I hope others agree.  I have always shared photography, but I'm going a bit out of the lines today by sharing a brilliant video rather.  Unfortunately I am unable to embed it directly onto this page (only works with YouTube videos and this is from Vimeo) and that would have been i.deal.  So there lies the blessed link above with the video title of "Dark Side of the Lens."  I wish I could put my name to this video, it is so good it may give you shivers.  :)  Simply put...there are photograph-like shots throughout (literally every single scene) that are spectacular, along with the voice and story behind such and the fact that it is dedicated to the man's sister "who believed."  It hits deep.  Enjoy.

Golden Days in the Sun

For my post today I wanted to base it on inspirational photography.  But, when I did an online search for inspirational photography, the images that came up really weren't inspirational at all...I think to anyone.  I found a couple that were okay, one is very inspirational...but I just couldn't get enough together to make a good post out of.  So I said screw it because there is this other photo that stood out to me today as beautiful and I want to write around that.
This photo is relaxing. . .It takes my mind off any stresses in my day and reminds me of golden days in the sun, on the beach, trancing weightlessly in a sun dress as the day winds down with no worries about the next day or the drive home after being there, because all you can think about at that moment is how beautiful the earth looks through your eyes and feels between your toes and the kiss it leaves on your skin. . .

The Sky is Frozen II

This post goes along with the post just before this.  I said I would perhaps snap a shot of my own of our current snow drift and here...I was able to with the help of my husband <3.  So this is how I spend most my snow days....from inside where I can stay warm!  :)  Do you blame me??  Heheh...Enjoy!

The Sky is Frozen

Today, the air is bitter, crisp and rough like stone.  The sky is frozen and it's falling all around.  You may know I am not a fan of snow for my own personal reasons (okay the C.O.L.D. makes my body hurt and therefore I am miserably in pain), however, it is ...beautiful.

So yeah...there is white fluffy snow outside, a look of innocence because it is so pure and emits happiness!  I ride it out inside the house by the fire, with our pretty ocean view while others are riding it out on the slopes with a gorgeous mountain view :).  Hehe...Well, here are a couple photos for ya!

I mean, check this little guy out...he's stoked!  :)

And this photo is nice too!  I don't think our snow will last or maybe I can get some nice shots of my own tomorrow for ya...
